On June 14, 2011, First Things First (FTF) staff presented information about the overall direction of FTF, Quality First (QF) and Financing quality in early learning. The first document provides the background, overal funding, rationale, and approach to quality improvement. The Cost of Quality shows staff costs associated with the five star levels and the annual cost for children at each level. The Quality First chart describes the five star levels and the scores necessary at each level. The Scoring Document shows the related licensing requirements and the criteria for obtaining 2, 4, and 6 points. The Baseline and Progress Assessment show the results of initial, progress, and pilot scores. The Rating Packages chart describes the level of support planned for each star level. The Finance Chart shows the overall direction of FTF funding.
